Dale opened the Crowe DNA firm in September 2017. Prior to going in to private and professional practice Dale worked for Standard Bank of South Africa, (Africa’s largest Banking Group), a career that spanned 25 years, where he fulfilled various senior leadership roles in both Operations, Human Resources and Retail Banking. Dale has worked across various regions of Africa, which includes having completed a 4-year expatriate assignment in West Africa (living out of Lagos, Nigeria and Accra Ghana for 4 years).
Tayla has worked in mental health for 8 years as a specialist wellness counsellor and a psychometrist, registered with the ASCHP and HPCSA respectively. During this period, she has worked in non-profit sector, as well as professional supporting private. She has a vast experience with local and international companies. She is the first certified Human development professional in South Africa. She spoke at the Future Talent council HR summit and the HR tech festival Asia on the emerging field of Human Development. Also, leadership development, organizational development, learning and development, coaching, and employee wellness are also part of her skillset.
Craig co-opened the Crowe Southern Cape firm in March 2021. Prior to opening this professional practice Craig worked for Ross Munro & Associates where he was responsible for the efficient functioning of the office and staff. His key areas of focus were management accounting and financial reporting. Craig has worked extensively in the audit environment, attending to various municipalities, Mediclinic and aspects of the Africa Empowerment Equity Investment Group.
Louis became a Non-Executive Director at Crowe in April 2024, bringing with him more than ten years of expertise in the fiduciary and financial services sector. He is a certified lawyer with a focus on Private Client, Trust, and Corporate Governance. Additionally, he is the founder and managing director of a software company located in the Channel Islands.
Melody Naidoo is an experienced HR and Learning and Development strategist with over twenty years of experience. She focuses on enhancing competitiveness, employee development, and organizational success through services like Learning and Development, Project Management, and Strategic Alignment. Melody provides end-to-end HR support, strategic leadership, and operational responsibilities to drive positive transformation and progress within organizations.
Carl, a serial entrepreneur, has initiated and successfully exited several businesses in the entertainment, media, and professional services sectors. He has been involved in sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives for about 12 years and is the innovator behind the ESG assessment platform known as ‘Kudos One’. During this time, Carl has spearheaded efforts to make the realm of ethical business practices more attainable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and privately owned businesses. He has also shared the research discoveries in this field at the United Nations, spanning across Africa.
Throughout his tenure at Kudos Africa and later at Kudos One, his primary emphasis has been on the investment sector, specifically on integrating ESG principles into the investment process. This includes screening, decision-making, various stages of investment, and exit strategies. Carl has supported stakeholders in the mining industry in meeting the pressing societal responsibilities expected from this sector.
Areas of professional focus involve enhancing Venture Funds and their portfolio companies' awareness of the ESG necessity. This includes creating and providing training materials and courses.

Kanya joined Crowe DNA in August 2024. She is a dedicated Human Resources professional based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. With a strong background in human resources management, Kanya has gained valuable experience in both public and private sectors. While working with the Gauteng Department of Education, where she applied her expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Kanya's career began as an Operations Intern at enke: Make Your Mark, where she honed her skills in operational management and project coordination from July 2022 to April 2023. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her active involvement in various educational pursuits, including her membership in the Golden Key International Society, which recognizes academic excellence in the top 15% of students.
Educationally, Kanya holds a BA in Psychology, which she completed between 2017 and 2019, and has pursued additional studies in 2021 and 2022 to further enhance her qualifications. Her academic background equips her with a unique perspective on workplace dynamics and employee relations, making her a valuable asset in the field of human resources.
